Media Development

We work to foster journalism in the public interest. Passionately believing that a free, independent, and diverse media is central to a functioning democracy, we support the media’s role in development and in
the democratic process.
We strengthen the capacity of journalists, and others working in media and communication, through training and long-term mentoring. We work to enhance the Digital and Physical Safety of journalists and human rights defenders.
Our Media and Information Literacy efforts fight misinformation and ‘fake news’ and help young Bangladeshis to become critical and discerning consumers of news.
